PDF to link

Get a link to your PDF that opens right in the browser, on a phone or a computer. Send it to anyone, or make it private to the people you invite.

Drop a PDF — get a link

Up to 25 MB. The file stays on your device until you publish; publishing needs a free host0 account — sign in with an email code or Google.

Who can open it

A new link is public: anyone you send it to can open it, and search engines are told not to index it, so it isn't listed anywhere. It isn't secret, though — a link can be forwarded, and a readable name you rename it to can be guessed. For contracts, payslips or anything else sensitive, make it private:

  • Flip the private switch on the card that appears after you publish, or on the app's page in your dashboard.
  • Invite people by email. Everyone else is stopped at a sign-in page.
  • Remove someone in your dashboard and their access ends immediately.

Limits

  • 25 MB per PDF. A bigger file is stopped before anything is uploaded.
  • 100 links and 500 MB per account. Every drop makes a new link.
  • Free during the beta. No card.

Replacing the PDF later

A new drop on this page always makes a new link — dropping report.pdf again gets a second random address, and the first one keeps working. To swap the PDF behind a link you've already sent, publish the new version into the same app with a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) that has the host0 skill: publish.sh report.pdf --slug q3-report (the link's current name) keeps the address.

Frequently asked questions

Do the people I send it to need an account or an app?

Not for a public link — it opens in their browser, with nothing to install. For a private link, the people you invite sign in once with the email address you invited.

How do I take a link down?

Make it private on the card that appears after you publish, or on the app's page in your dashboard — from then on only you and the people you invite can open it. To take it down for good, delete it on the same dashboard page; the link stops working at once.

host0 is the cloud for small software: bring any coding agent, build the tool only you need — like this one — and say "deploy to host0". Live at a shareable URL, no servers to run.
