Terms of service

The agreement

These terms govern your use of host0 — the platform at host0.ai, the apps served on *.host0.app, the REST API, the skill and publish.sh, and the MCP server (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use host0 for an organisation, you agree on its behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we handle data.

Your account

You need an account to publish. Keep your sign-in method and API keys secret — anything done with your account or keys is your responsibility. An agent acting with your API key acts for you. Revoke a key from the dashboard if it leaks, and tell us about unauthorised use at support@host0.ai.

Your content

You keep all rights to what you publish — files, apps and the records they store ("your content"). You give host0 the limited permission needed to host, copy, serve and back up your content in order to run the service for you and the people you share it with, and to add a small "Hosted on host0" badge to the HTML pages of apps on the free plan. You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to publish it.

Apps are public by default: unlisted and never indexed, but anyone with the URL can open them, and URLs are guessable. Make an app private if it holds anything sensitive. Records written by visitors to your apps are your content too, and you're responsible for how your app uses them.

Acceptable use

Don't use host0 to publish or run:

• Anything illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• Phishing, credential harvesting, or pages that impersonate another person, company or service;
• Malware, or content that attacks, scans or overloads other systems;
• Spam, or content that harasses, threatens or exploits people, including any sexual content involving minors;
• Attempts to get around limits, quotas, the access gate, or another user's data.

We may remove content, suspend apps or close accounts that break these rules, usually with notice but immediately when needed to protect people or the service. Report abuse to support@host0.ai.

Limits

The service has limits — apps per account, deploys per hour, storage, request rates and records. The current figures are on /docs and at GET /api/v1. We may change them, and we'll try to give notice before tightening them in a way that affects existing apps.

The service is provided as is

host0 is a young product. We work to keep it fast and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Keep your own copy of anything important — your agent has the source, and you can export records as JSON at any time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, host0 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Pricing

host0 is free during its beta. If we introduce paid plans, we'll publish the prices first, and nothing you already use becomes paid without notice.

Ending

You can stop using host0 and delete your apps at any time; to delete your account, email support@host0.ai. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service — if we shut host0 down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your content.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll notify account holders by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
